About the Coffee producer:

San José Ixtepec, located at over 1,600 meters above sea level, is a region with a mild and humid climate—ideal conditions for cultivating high-quality specialty coffee.

Today, the region faces significant migration, threatening the continuity of traditional coffee farming.

Neri Ortíz, a producer and roaster passionate about natural processes, leads this micro-production. He collaborates with local smallholder farmers, guiding them in sustainable techniques and personally selecting the best cherries.

On his family farm, he carries out the entire post-harvest process with care and precision: controlled cold anaerobic fermentation, double water fermentation with flotation, and sun drying on raised beds.

The result: a unique natural coffee—rounded, aromatic, and full of purpose.

Direct impact:

This project aims to revitalize the local coffee economy by creating jobs, providing training, and encouraging younger generations to stay rooted in their communities. Each purchase directly supports this regenerative and fair model.
