👨🌾 About the producer:
Fazenda UM was founded in 2009 on an abandoned farm in southern Minas Gerais, driven by the vision of Stefano Um, with the goal of elevating Brazilian specialty coffee through quality, traceability, and innovation.
The farm is part of Um Coffee Co, a project that combines Brazilian coffee-growing tradition with experimentation in post-harvest processing. Their work has been key in positioning Brazil on the global map of competition coffee.
In 2023, the story of the UM family marked a turning point in specialty coffee: Boram Um became Brazil’s first World Barista Champion, using a coffee produced on the family farm. On that same day, Garam Um achieved third place in the World Brewers Cup Championship.
With 300 hectares, Fazenda UM seeks to bring together the best of both worlds: the classic, clean characteristics of Brazilian naturals combined with more delicate and refined profiles achieved through carefully controlled processing.
The result is a balanced, sweet, and approachable coffee that showcases the true potential of Brazil when cultivated with precision and purpose.
Direct Impact:
Each purchase supports a sustainable production model focused on agricultural innovation, full traceability, and the global recognition of Brazilian specialty coffee, strengthening the legacy of a family that has redefined origin—from farm to cup.
